We did not hesitate to go inside the store and ask for permission to shoot around. Punto art bazaar is an amazing alternative store where one can buy hand-made jewelry, décor articles, paintings etc. Most of the displayed articles are made by the people who work in the store. The other items are from different artist who try to make a living from their hobby.

Silver Punto Art Bazaar Jewelry

The silver jewelry things, part of the steampunk movement initiated by the owner of the store, Petar Arbov, are a sight to behold. Mr.Arbov was also the initiator of the steampunk movement in Bulgaria. The workers of the store help him make the intricate pieces of jewelry. One of the workers of Punto art bazaar is Marina Demireva, a very artsy and crafty person. Marina likes what she does and even has an online page of her own creations. She told us that Mr.Arbov buys all the materials for the jewelries for the steampunk movement from a market place in Sofia called Bitaka. Mr.Arbov buys old clocks and small mechanical things from which he can take parts for creating astonishing pieces of jewelry that can easily pass as art.

The store has a nice flow of customers from youngsters to older people. There are also some of them that think the products are rubbish and they leave the store.

If you love what you saw in the video or on the store’s FB page, swing by and spend some time admiring the artsy things inside.
